Atkins Diet Information
The Atkins Diet is an amazing diet where you will never go hungry again yet still lose weight. The Atkin's Diet is not a fad diet. Most people will lose 10-30 pounds in the first month! How you ask? Eat all the meat, cheese, eggs, and fats (like butter and oils) until full. There is no calorie counting or using tasteless low fat foods. There is no starvation. How is this possible? By limiting carbohydrates in your daily food intake. How the Atkins Diet Works?
The first two weeks of the Atkins diet.com is termed the "induction" period. During this time, dieters consume no more than 25 grams of carbs per day. This diet may include bottomless portions of meat, seafood, poultry, cheese, butter and oils. By "bottomless", it is meant that you can eat two (2) large steak dinners if you so desire! However, dieters may not have any milk, fruit, or grain products with high glycemic index during the first two weeks. After this time, Atkins dieters may addt 5 grams of carbs weekly. This carb range maxes out at 90 grams. This is still a very small amount of carbs by most diet standards.
Again, How does Atkins Diet Work?
Well, at a high level the principle is that you can consume high amounts of food which DO NOT contain carbohydrates. The benefit is that your body turns carbohydrates into sugar and ultimately, fat. Basically, by significantly reducing your carbohydrate intake, you can consume large amounts of food without really adding any extra fat to your diet. Your body begins "feeling" full because your diet does not contain carbs and your ultimately eat less while have less food convert to fat. The "Net Net" here is that you feel fool without having as much substance in your system.
Give Atkins a try - Eat all the eggs, bacon, steaks, cheese, and butter you desire for just a week; without consuming milk, fruit, juices, grain, bread, or basically carbs. You will find that after about a week, you feel full without eating as much food.
